Great wines start in the vineyard, and a vineyard is first and foremost a living thing. The grapes for Encore Cellars are farmed with the health of the environment in mind. Our detailed vineyard team uses sustainable farming practices to ensure a healthy life cycle for all of the inhabitants – animal, plant and human. 

 

We are part of a family-farmed winery who has been growing grapes since 1924. Sustainable farming practices are central to the family's firmly held belief that they are responsible for tending the earth using environmentally sensitive farming techniques.
